林正偉於1984 年生於台灣，現居台北。
國立台北藝術大學新媒體藝術研究所碩士，作品經常運用錄像、裝置和某種身體經驗營造奇特的氛圍幻覺。討論的議題也和環境、歷史、集體記憶有關。除了經常性在台灣展出，也在巴黎、保加利亞和菲律賓參展以及駐村。
Lin Cheng Wei is a Taipei-based artist born in Kaohsiung, Taiwan in 1984.
Ｗorks often combine video, installation, and a physical experience, creating a strange atmospheric illusion. The topics discussed are also related to the environment, history, and collective memory.
Usually exhibitions and residency in Taiwan, Paris, Bulgaria and Philippines.
